Q2 2018 Helping Hands & Leadership Spotlight

It’s no secret that Therapy Center has the BEST team of professionals in the business! We know that it’s our wonderful group of dedicated, hard-working team members who make us who we are. We want to take time each quarter to recognize just a few of our many awesome team members who consistently go above and beyond their job duties and set an example of leadership and team work for us all.

Melinda C., Regional Coordinator does an excellent job serving as a liaison between staff, techs, and regionals. She is a critical asset in planning and clearing up end of the month. She has assisted with areas outside her regular territory as needed and continues to offer to help in supporting new facilities. She is very organized and computer savvy and did an excellent job creating tech training materials for optima. Melinda is a valuable asset to our team!

Renee B., Regional Coordinator is always willing to travel and train. She was a significant supporter in closing out Lake Charles Community Care and she has done an excellent job with new tech training. She has demonstrated flexibility as we have made staffing changes to improve efficiency. Renee analyzes information and asks good questions that often leads to resolving unnoticed issues. We appreciate her consistent commitment to improving TTC!

Kimberly W., Regional Coordinator is also known to many of us as “Pumpkin”. She works extremely hard and is always available with anything that is needed. She makes sure that details are not missed and provides excellent support for all she works with. The job couldn’t be done without Pumpkin!

Robbi G., OT has been an excellent person to have working for The Therapy Center. She is always flexible and willing to travel and help where needed.   She steps up to the plate and makes sure things are completed, all while providing excellent customer service and excellent care to her patients. We appreciate all that Robbi does!   Thank you so much Robbi for your hard work and effort!

Marissa L., ST, is a road warrior! Traveling across multiple parishes and at one time was handling caseloads in 3 outpatient clinics, along with home health. The busyness of her schedule never hinders the level of care she delivers to patients. She takes the time to research and learn the most appropriate clinical practices, and most impressively, gets to know her patients on such a personal level that they can’t help but to adore her. Along with caring so deeply for her patients, Marissa has also been a great support to many of her co-workers, going above and beyond to help them feel appreciated and supported on a personal level. Her passion for making a difference in the lives she touches is an inspiration to so many who get the opportunity to work with her.

Anna P., OT, juggles multiple roles with the Therapy Center, working in our outpatient clinics as well as inpatient rehab, and home health. Anna’s passion for her job is unmistakable. She coordinates care with nurses, physicians, caregivers, and fellow therapists in an effort to offer supportive information for patients who could benefit from OT services. Her drive and willingness to learn more in order to be a better clinician is inspiring to all those who come in contact with her.

Regina S., Therapy Tech, works primarily in one of our outpatient clinics and her role in is a instrumental to serving our pateints. She has great skill in making the patients feel at home when they come to therapy. Regina is always on her feet working hard to help the PT and goes above and beyond to help answer phones and attend to patients as they wait for their appointment. Her ability to build rapport with the patients is so enjoyable to witness. Thanks for all of your hard work Regina!

WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY
“Jodi and I have worked together for nearly 15 years, spending that much time together, you come to be more than co-workers.  That’s what is great about my own job: the people I work with and the family environment that our people help create.  Jodi will do anything for anybody and anytime, taking late phone calls, taking early phone calls, moving things around to make sure our patients are taken care of as well as our employees at the same time, making certain our priority of providing quality care to our patients never falters. Jodi does a great job of taking care of our employees as well.  She senses when a person is struggling and lends an ear to come up with a solution, she also gets just as excited when someone achieves something monumental and celebrates their accomplishments. “
“Jodi is a true pleasure to work with. Her positive attitude and calm demeanor always may my job less stressful. She is quick to give support and is always willing to listen. Thank you Jodi for all that you do!”
“Jodi has always been very flexible but firm and fair to all. Beneath her gentle look is a heart of a bull which makes her strong.”
“Since starting with the Therapy Center, I have enjoyed the pleasure of being able to work with Jodi. She has always been welcoming, open to questions, and eager to help. Thanks for all you do!”
