In recognition of PT Month, we would like to acknowledge and thank a few of our physical therapists that are making a huge impact on their teams and care given.
Caitlin Miller: Riviere De Soleil Community Care Center
To say she is a new graduate, Caitlin possesses the qualities of an experienced clinician. She has taken on the challenge of being lead physical therapist (PT) of a busy facility with compassion, enthusiasm and love for the profession. Caitlin encourages the multidisciplinary approach by working closely with other disciplines to ensure the total needs of the patient have been met. She approaches each workday as an opportunity to learn more about what it takes to be a top clinician. She is wise beyond her years and we are so thankful to have her part of the team at Riviere. – Therapy team at Riviere
Bert Smith: Riviere De Soleil Community Care Center
PT month would be incomplete without mentioning the glue that holds the team together, Bert Smith, PTA. He walks in the door ready to “rock and roll” and begins each day motivating the team and his patients. When warranted, he provides unconventional treatment to encourage maximum potential that his patients appreciate and enjoy. He is a big brother to the team and friend to all and we couldn’t imagine Riviere without him! – Therapy team at Riviere (Read more about Bert’s personal story here.)
